Wrapping up 2024 with a big Thank You to our Readers

We’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued interest in our program. Your passion for expanding your knowledge in horticulture, pest management, and sustainable landscaping practices inspires us every day.

As we wrap up this fall edition of News to Grow By, we’d like to mention the remainder of news and events we still have planned for 2024. This information is also available on our website.

Our YouTube channel has 59 videos, 15 live streams, and 10 playlists of short, bite-sized videos. Our Help Desk has published 54 blog posts in the past two years on subjects that are most commonly asked about.

Several more In-Person talks have been scheduled at local libraries across the county for which you will receive advance notice.

The current extremely popular Growing Gardeners class “Vegetable Gardening for Beginners” is coming to a close with 58 students registered. Be on the lookout for the next registration invite in February 2025

Interested in becoming a Master Gardener? We currently have 30 new volunteers in training who will graduate in February 2025. New trainees for the Class of 2026 will be invited to join next summer.

You can find our Ask A Master Gardener tables at many farmers markets until the end of October. The tables will return in the spring of 2025.
