Grafting

Grafting is a remarkable method of expanding the productivity of plants in your garden.  Come join UC Master Gardeners Greg Letts, Kirsten Mollo and Andrea Salzman as they share with you the history and art of grafting in your garden.  Greg, Kirsten, and Andrea will demonstrate the basics of grafting and how you can perform grafts in your own garden.

About Our Garden

Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just north of Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.

UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
