Editorial Notes
“Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle.”
— Barbara Winkler
Whether your New Year’s resolution in 2024 is wellness-related, making better connections, or embarking on a new adventure, don’t forget to embrace sustainable living. One of the bright spots during our mild California winter might be watching our gardens provide the blooms and shelter needed by our native pollinators, caring for our magnificent local oak trees, or growing a year-round vegetable garden. Enjoy reading our advice on what steps you can take when gardening at home, both outdoors and indoors, or volunteering at a local community garden during winter.
