Fall 2022
Editorial Notes
— F. Scott Fitzgerald
In anticipation of the arrival of much needed winter rains, we dedicate this issue to a beautiful season where nature gracefully winds down and gives back bountiful: what we lose in flowers and leaves, we gain in fruits and color.
Fall is a great time to Plant! When planning your garden for fall, it really helps to 'take a stroll in your own garden’ and identify areas that could use improvement by moving or adding plants, replacing a lawn, pruning, improving your soil, etc. Look up too! And let's not forget about our precious tall trees so we can keep them healthy and firesafe(r).
Due to climate change and the current drought, we have decided to start a new recurring series on sustainable gardening with an interesting first article on the use of recycled water. Additionally, in case you love container gardening, don’t miss some useful watering techniques.
This will be our last issue for 2022. Enjoy this beautiful fall season and the upcoming holidays as well. Happy reading!
