Growing Fruit Trees Using Less Water
We all love growing fresh, ripe fruit in our own garden, but you may have concern about the water they require. Join horticulturist Ed Laivo from Four Winds Growers as he expertly shows us how we can have those wonderful fruit trees in our backyard and still be "water wise".
About Our Garden
Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just north of Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.
UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
