Success with Cool Weather Vegetable Gardening
As summer winds down, there is no need to put your garden to bed. Join UC Master Gardener Janet Miller as she takes us through the wonderful world of cool weather vegetable gardening. Learn techniques for successfully growing cool weather kitchen favorites like kale, broccoli, carrots and snap peas, just to name a few.
About Our Garden
Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just north of Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.
UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
