Planting with Perennials, presented by UC Master Gardener Shawna Anderson

Perennial plants serve as a foundation for our gardens, as ornamental enhancements and habitats for pollinators and butterflies.  Perennial plants grow for two or more years and go through repeated flowering and seed producing cycles.  Learn the many considerations to take into account when selecting perennials such as flowering and colors, evergreen vs. deciduous, size and structure, and light and climate requirements.  Once planted, perennials provide a place of beauty and interest for years to come.

Enter the Fairgrounds from West 10th Street, between O and L Streets.  As you head into the fairgrounds, before the roundabout take the first right into the Fairgrounds Administration parking lot.
