Vertebrates in the Vegetables!, presented by UC Master Gardener Steven Griffin
What are nature-loving, generally peaceful gardeners to do when voles, squirrels, gophers, moles and other furry little mammals wreak havoc in our gardens? Although the first impulse may be to turn into Elmer Fudd and blast them to smithereens, there are some viable alternatives. Learn how to identify the creature in your garden, how to make your garden less attractive, and when and how to use various measures to control the mini-beasts.
Enter the Fairgrounds from West 10th Street, between O and L Streets. As you head into the fairgrounds, before the roundabout take the first right into the Fairgrounds Administration parking lot.
