Tomatoes, Peppers & Eggplants, presented by UC Master Gardener Janet Miller
Make the most of warm summer days by growing the world’s most popular vegetables. Homegrown tomatoes, peppers and eggplants are sun-loving, simple to grow in most home gardens and are the quintessential taste of summer. Learn how to prepare your garden space, how to plant your vegetables from seed or seedling, where to locate your plants in your garden, how to take good care of you plants including feeding and watering, how to stake your plants, and harvest them for fresh use or storage. Whether you have an acre of land or just enough space for a few plants, you can grow tomatoes, peppers and eggplants.
Enter the Fairgrounds from West 10th Street, between O and L Streets. As you head into the fairgrounds, before the roundabout take the first right into the Fairgrounds Administration parking lot.
