Making Your Garden Pet Safe

Love your garden and love your pets?  Did you know many plants can be harmful to pets?  Come learn how you can enjoy both worry-free as UC Master Gardener and Veterinarian Stacey Sonnenshein takes us through practical illustrations of how we and our pets can enjoy our garden spaces together.

About Our Garden

Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just north of Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.

UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
