Fall/Winter Care of Your Fruit Trees

Summer is winding down, and the seasons are beginning to change.  Join UCCE Farm Advisor Emeritus Janet Caprile as she shares her expert knowledge on caring for your fruit trees during the fall and winter months.  Janet has many years of expert experience assisting commercial orchards across Contra Costa County; she'll share that wisdom with us at our demonstration garden.

About Our Garden

Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just north of Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.

UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
