Basic Composting for the Home Gardener, presented by UC Master Gardener Steve Danziger
Are you interested in turning your garden waste and kitchen scraps into a rich soil conditioner and fertilizer for your garden? Our speaker, UC Master Gardener Steve Danziger, will teach you how to start a compost pile, add the best ingredients, and nurture its decomposition. He will cover how composting works, compost containers, what and what not to compost, and where and when to use your compost.
There will be time for questions and answers after the presentation. No charge.
