The Value and Case for Seed Saving
Beside saving money, there are many reasons you may wish to save the seeds from your prize plants. Join UC Master Gardener Trish Clifford as she takes you through the many reasons saving your seeds is important beyond just saving money.
About Our Garden
Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just north of Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.
UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
