Rain or Shine, Water Conservation Is Here to Stay.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 6, when Jolene Bertetto from EBMUD presents Rain or Shine, Water Conservation Is Here to Stay. Jolene will take us through EBMUD’s latest water conservation plans, plus give us a sneak peek into their long-term forecast for next year’s water supply. This should prove to be a very enlightening presentation for us all. Don’t miss it!
Please note: this presentation has been substituted for the originally scheduled presentation on Incorporating Rain Gardens into Your Landscape. We apologize for any inconvenience.
About Our Garden
Our Garden is a public demonstration garden of the UC Master Gardener Program of Contra Costa County, located in Walnut Creek at the corner of North Wiget Lane and Shadelands Drive, just off Ygnacio Valley Road. From April through October, weekly speakers present a variety of information on edibles gardening and home gardening in general.
UC Master Gardeners of Contra Costa maintain the garden and interface with the general public. We encourage you to bring in your home and garden questions and talk with a UC Master Gardener at the Ask a Master Gardener Table (9 am to Noon)!
